Our designs are based on our own experiences and the experiences of many owners using similar products. We feel the result is a near perfect marriage of real world function and manufacturing technology.

OEV a division of LITE Industries Inc. is proud to continue the heritage of producing the finest engineered and designed vehicles for extreme off-road travel. OEV utilizes custom made proprietary composite panels and extrusions to construct arguably one of the lightest, most robust, and best engineered campers/cabins produced in North America.

As with all our products we can help with your chassis selection, the overall design, functionality and equipment choices. Our builds are designed to be extremely light weight without compromising structural integrity for years of enjoyment.

Aluma Tray (flatbeds)

Our Aluma tray is engineered to hit all of the factory frame mounting locations including the frame locations loaded by unbolted box crossmembers. This ensures the frame is loaded exactly as the factory engineered it to be loaded, our trays are also fully isolated and will not constrain the factory chassis in ways it was not intended to be constrained, as the tray is substantially stronger then the factory box it is replacing. Our trays are constructed with 6061 T6 structural extrusions to carry the load and 5052 marine grade sheeting forming out the rest of the package. Our trays are polyurethane coated on the deck surface for a highly abrasion-resistant and high traction finish and fully powder coated everywhere else for longevity and corrosion resistance.

Slide-in Campers

The Back Country & Cross Country models are lightweight, composite slide-in popup campers designed to fit mid-size with 5′- 6′ beds and full-size trucks with 6′-8′ beds.

These campers are designed using our proprietary composite panel and aluminum extrusion system to keep weight extremely light, extremely tough, and extremely warm or cool!  The extrusions are designed specifically for this application, and thermal transfer has been eliminated, keeping the interior more comfortable in inclement weather.

Our composite wall has a very high R value (=>8), and our soft walls come fully insulated (R value => 4) as part of our standard spec.  The combination will keep will keep you warm or cool, and it’s substantially quieter than a single-panel soft side. Our heavy-duty locking roof supports are easy to use and lock solidly in place; a foot of heavy wet snow….no problem!  We have managed to conceal the struts while the camper is in travel mode, where it is most often exposed to dirt, mud & road salts.

Flatbed Campers

Our pop-up and hard-sided flatbed campers are both lightweight and durable, thanks to their composite walls and exoskeleton design. They are designed to easily fit on a full-size 6′-8′ flatbed, such as our Aluma Tray.

Fixed Cabins

The BASE-CAMP is a fixed cabin designed specifically for the Ford commercial 60″ Cab to axle chassis.  We bridged the gap between our CAMP-HBE camper and our SUMMIT cabin. The BASE CAMP utilizes 1.5″ (38mm) composite panel(s) to aid in achieving the weight that we are targeting.  Coupled with our pop up roof system using our insulated soft wall technology, not only helps in weight reduction it also reduces the overall height of the cabin.
